Varied administration duties from cash reconciliation to on boarding of new team members. Purchase ledger control and some HR duties.
I have learned the theory behind a lot of practices I was already unconsciously doing but have learned new skills that have helped me.
I enjoyed it, it was varied and informative, with support from my tutor.
At the beginning it felt a little disorganised and there were many changes but in the last few months of the course it felt structured and I knew what I should expect.
There was not much support from my employer for the first half of the course but this did increase in the later stages.
There was a lot of support from my last tutor who was there to help whenever I needed clarification.
It has helped me understand some principles and then put them in to practice in my day to day job.
We do hold regular activities that the team can get involved in such as games nights & quizzes. We also have a celebration for the team at least once a year.
Yes
Because you can do your job and work hard but there are so many opportunities to do other roles and move and grow within the company if that is what you want.
Work hard and do your job to the best of your ability and this will be recognised. There are as many opportunities as you want so grab them with both hands.
