  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • im currently at college doing my college work however i was recently at govan doing my 6 week training course, the day im doing this is tuesday however our lecturer is off sick so we are just in a classroom catching up on some work that i need to do.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • before coming to the college i had done practical metalwork in high school so i got a little bit of understand on how some machines worked, however since being here ive learned so much more in fabrication alone, we also do welding, i done a little bit of it at high school however ive gotten so much better at it since being here

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • the course im doing just know is very enjoyable i get on well with all the lecturers and ive made some friends while being here, the course itself is enjoyable because its not incredibly difficult, however it is still very informative

  • sometimes it can be a bit disorganized but most of the time its very good.

  • anytime a need something i can contact my employer and get assistance for anything I need.

  • i recently came back from my 6 week training course on the yard when i actually learned quite a lot

  • before coming to college i knew very little about things such as burning and welding but while being on this course i learned quite a lot

  • Yes

  • they are a very communicative company and any problems there are many people to contact
