  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I’m a Head housekeeper for a 150 rooms hotel. I’m leading a team with 16 team members . I give every day’s tasks to my team members and I check all the rooms to be cleaned by company standards. I deal with the linen management and with consumables orders.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes. I learned to do the rota for my team and how to order consumables. I improved my leader skills, I learned how to create a strong team and how to keep this team united. I learned many things about business management and about how to be a good leader.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • This programme helped me a lot to be more confident with certain things, to be a good leadership and what I need to do in some situations. I think , that with this programme I improved my skills ,I learned lots of new things and I become more confident in terms of leadership.

  • This programme is very well structured.Everything is taken step by step.They cover every section and give us lots of information and details. They provide us an experienced trainer that help us with the learning.We have access to all the resources that we need, and they give us enough time to learn.

  • I have lot of support from my employer. They help me every time when I need. They all the time reserve time for me to show how the things need to be done.They give me time to learn and support me with information, if I need and when I’m stuck.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider support me a lot with my qualifications. They give enough time to learn and make me understand properly what I need to do. I have a good trainer that explains everything and believe in my skills. I receive enough information from my trainer ,that helps me with my learning .

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel very well. I sure that my qualifications will gone help me a lot to do my job as better as I can. Because I learned many new things and because I think I improved my skills, make me be more confident with the role that I have at this moment.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes we have extra activities to get involved at work, for example raising money for charity.So we need to extra activities like marathon, handmade toys, tombola sales ,team activities ( days without uniforms to help for charity). We enjoy this kind of activities and like this all the team is involved.

  • Yes

  • Because is the best company that I work still now. They offer lots of benefits and first thing is that you can advance in your career. They give you the opportunity to improve yourself and to grow up. They offer you life- work balance and other many benefits . Great company.

  • Be yourself. Don’t lose the opportunity to work for this company. Be open to new things and if you looking for a place where you want to advance in your career this is the right place and the right company for you.Great company for anyone that wants to grow.
