  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • So far, I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship as it is a very practical job and enables me to create a strong foundation for my future career. We also spend time away at the academy which is a week away of theory learning so I know why we do the things we do on site.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is a very structured programme as we have set dates we are at work, at the academy etc. There are also extra learning days put on at the academy if we wanted to expand our knowledge on things we might not usually do.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel as though I am being pushed to show my potential. I have recently been given more responsibility on site which I enjoy as it means more people rely on me and see me more as part of the team and that they can count on me.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are lots of social activities put in place for the apprentices to take part in which enables us to meet people from other departments and get an insight into what they do on a daily basis. There are no sports teams.
