  • I work on a daily basis within the financial services industry. This can vary between insurance companies, investment banks, commercial banking etc. My role is to ensure my clients are complying with regulation, laws, legislation both domestically or internationally. My role involves client calls, team meetings, writing up my analysis and recommendations

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my people skills massively, I am now expert level in programmes such as excel, PowerPoint alongside client systems that may be used.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme massively. I am treated like a regular employee, I am able to communicate when i am not happy and it is listened and picked up on. My work life balance is very good and i am interested in the client opportunities presented to me

  • My programme is well organised. We are given dates and flexibly (only if needed). We are also given contacts for any issues we may have with the programme and the company works with us for any adjustments needed

  • I myself have had issues with health, the company has been amazing with support and the care they have given to me.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider does take a while to get back to you however there are regular calls with them to check our progress alongside contact emails for what is needed

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is aligned exactly with my role. the content learned is what is applied in my day to day roles - and it is easier to pick up the qualification as we see it in place

  • We have multiple groups you can get involved in at KPMG. Alongside this apprentices have a network where you can socialise with all apprentices even in different programmes. In addition to this, your team and department will have socials regularly too which is great to get involved in. There are some sports teams that

  • Yes

  • KPMG is a great company where you as an employee are valued. The various networks and scope of work are a bonus to working here. In addition so far my career has progressed a lot since joining

  • Look at KPMG values and how they align to yourself. Apply early - dont delay your application Stay calm -
