  • I joined over lockdown therefore faced inevitble challenges such as connecting with the team to learn from colleagues, however this changes as restrictions eased. Firebrand can do a better job at giving work mentors an instruction sheet to follow to make things easier to follow.

  • My line manager was very supportive. I believe everyone did their best with what they knew.

  • My firebrand mentor provided feedback really quick and did her best to help me with my knowledge gaps as sometimes the resources/rules to follow could've been better.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have learnt a lot about different engineering concepts and project framworks and roles. However, wish i got more support with coding specifically for work.

  • Amazing support and learning opportunities. Learning new things are always encouraged and seen as something positive. Love working for Lloyds.

  • Search for patterns when you join - note down the tools and languages used and learn something one at a time.
