  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On the day-to-day, I help my line manger manage our different accounts/clients with their renewals and attract new business. Daily tasks involve: communicating with clients via email/teams call regarding cover, issues etc, internal filing and creation of documents.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Developed my communication skills as everyday I'm meeting new people or developing my relationships with different clients. New skills would include new systems and knowledge of the Insurance Market.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am thoroughly enjoying my programme so far as it has introduced me to new opportunities and allowed me to expand my client relationships. Am grateful to be a part of such an inclusive and positive company who only strive for the best in themselves and everyone else

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well structured as revision sessions and different apprentice calls are scheduled in every week. I also have monthly calls with my apprenticeship tutor who likes to make sure i'm feeling ok with everything and up to speed with all my tasks.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am given and receive support on the daily, they have made sure to make my joining to the company very swift and ensure that my team are very supportive and offer any help I may need.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider have been amazing with support regarding my qualifications and are always offering support from either themselves via email or my tutor. I have 2 and 1/2 hour calls once every fortnight for revision.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualifications give me a base knowledge of everything I need to know regarding insurance and my job role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Lloyds do offer a list of different sports teams which is linked to our company due to being Lloyds brokers. My team always have different networking events either with our GLOB or underwriters.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • There are so many opportunities available to you alongside support from all colleagues, especially when your new to the working world. They ensure you feel welcomed and settled in with our new teams who are always willing to help.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
  • Do some background research first of WTW and just be yourself!
