    • Assisting with all different HR departments, giving my time to help and run the admin side of the HR department.

    • Yes, since starting my apprenticeship, i have learned so much throughout my time here, this job role has giving me opportunity to improve my communication skills, learn from so many fantastic people and massively helped my confidence

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • Before starting my job role at Matalan in the HR department i had little background knowledge of how a business would run and what an HR department would do in a day to day basis, however during my time here i have learnt so much in such a short period of time.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • Very well structured as part of my role we have 3 other apprentices here in different areas in HR and we switch every 6 months so that we can experience everything that HR has to offer.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • I recive so much support from the company they allow me to interact with departments outside of HR and also allow me enough time to complete my apprenticeship to best of my ability.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • It has given me the extra knowledge to what is to be expected of me in my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

    • Yes there are so many from me invited to attending an awards evening to career events and then to having a good social network with my team.

    • We are like a family here not just work colleagues.

    • It is such a great company to work for, everyone is so supportive and you will enjoy your role.
