  • Preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns and corresponding with clients regarding tax matters

  • Developed maths and english skills very highly, and learnt new tax knowledge and client delivery and facing skills, professionalism

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed the programmed a lot over the last 4 years and whilst the end is approaching and the exams are getting more difficult, i am excited for what the future brings once my apprenticeship is over.

  • Clear and concise what is required of me and what i need to do on the programme, training provider sends regular emails and refreshers of my expectations and how the pathway progresses

  • High volume of support, enough study leave, good job progression and recognised reward

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot, all qualification training and exams paid for, covered study leave, training provided where relevant and discussions held where needed

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Not so much with the accounting qualification as i specialise in tax however i am doing a tax qualification too and that is very beneficial to my day job

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes social events occur on a regular basis, regular professional networking events, although these slowed during covid for obvious reasons

  • Yes

  • Great company who cares about its staff, helps people progress well and get qualified, and the people and culture is strong


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mazars LLP?
  • Be ready for the work needed to get through the qualification but also be excited to become a professional
