  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • 8:00am Start and site briefing, I then go onto site to see what has been done and what also needs to be done and what paperwork is needed. I then go back to the office to sort out paperwork and mark ups. After lunch I go back to site to see what has been completed that day and what needs to be done for tomorrow. I then go back to the office and update trackers and diaries so we know if we are on track ready for home time at 5:00pm

  • I have learnt how to survey, I have become first aid trained, I have learnt the importance of different material and their uses and I have learnt how an entire office get refurbished along with demo packages that I have helped in

  • I really enjoy my programme there's never a dull moment and there's something new everyday

  • My employer is extremely supportive and always makes sure to check up me and see if I need any help

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes we have football at least once a month and socials after work. There's also workshops around inclusivity and diversity across the year and different events such as self defence workshop

  • Fun and interesting job and an amazing team

  • Its quite daunting at first especially as a girl but everyone is actually really friendly so be as sociable as possible
