  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • my everyday role evolves around completing various tasks. I complete Outstanding order reports, place orders for various different customers. I carry out activities like solving disputes related to customer queries which includes invoicing the customer. I deal with vendors asking them for updates regarding orders i have placed and when they are due.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have developed many skills since i have started my apprenticeship and also developed on my current skills. I have gained many interpersonal skills like communications skills both written and verbal. i have also improved on my presentations skills as part of doing doing my apprenticeship work i am required to make presentations.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i have so far enjoyed my programme greatly as it has allowed me to understand business structure and business life and i have been presented with many opportunities and events that i can attend. i enjoy how flexible my employer is with where i work from with is very helpful.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • my programme is very well organised. i had 6 weeks of training initially which allowed me to meet different people in the business and understand the business better. i have a set day of the work to complete my apprenticeship work without any distractions which is an example of great organisation.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i receive enough support from my employer to do my apprenticeship work as well as my office work. if i need more clarity with regards to anything i am able to approach my manager and she then arranges a session with me to specifically help me with my work more specifically.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • my training helps me perform better in my role because it helps me understand the behaviours i need to display in my workplace as well as the skills i am developing along the way. my programme has tasks i need to complete which help me analyse the activities i am doing in my workplace.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • i get involved in many extra curricular activities such as, professional networking events which are very insightful and also fun to attend to. i attend social activities that have been arranged by employer like dinners after work or visiting my organisations different branches which are fun to visit and explore.

  • Yes

  • i would recommend computacenter to a friend because of its amazing culture. i felt very welcome at computacenter and realised i could easily reach out to people for help and support. Also the opportunities computacenter has career wise are very diverse so there is something that everyone can do in it.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Computacenter?
  • The tips i would give to someone applying for computacenter is that they should be true and trasparent about themselves. they should have an attitude that showcases their willingness to progress explore as well as help other and contribute the best they can to the organisation and its people altogether.
