  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’ve massively improved skills in admin and customer service. I have also gained a lot more confidence in myself through working here.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the work but I don’t think the balance between work and study is what was promised. As I’m the only apprentice in my branch it feels like I’m an employee first apprentice second.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel like the implementation of the learning wasn’t really done well.

    3/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive some support

    5/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have calls every 2 weeks with my skills coach who is able to help me with any questions, they’re also good at responding to questions over email. But it is normally just to clarify the confusingly worded questions.

    5/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps somewhat

    7/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are technically groups available but most of the time the events are scheduled during our lunch hour. It feels like whilst we’re encouraged to take part in groups theres rarely any time to actually do anything for them.

    3/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend NatWest to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Everyone’s supportive and it’s a great opportunity with plenty of career paths you’re able to take .

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • To try and learn as much as you can and to build your network up
