  • The role it’s self is great, the programme however is lacking. There is little cohesion between internal apprenticeship team and BPP. Internal apprentice team can be difficult to contact.

  • One size fits all programme, not tailored to the individual.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Support and training in role is second to non, management team are always on hand to support and answer any questions. Expectations are clear. Internal apprentice team support is lacking.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Very little support in terms of qualification. One meeting every six weeks with a coach, that feels like a tick box exercise for them. Generally good at responding to emails.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification will help performance in a (currently) minor but area of the role growing, as it provides a base/whole of market level of knowledge

  • There are often networking events, social events with your team, and plenty of groups to join for all interests.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • There are plenty of opportunities within in the bank, to expand and grow. Inclusive workplace welcoming people from all backgrounds. The roles can be demanding at times but you are rewarded and recognised by senior leaders in the business.
