  • Working on the remediation team at HSBC - investigating and resolving customer issues using SAS & SQL to data mine and identify impacted accounts.

  • Technical & Digital leadership as well as Data Analytics principles and the role of technology within business.

  • I have been enjoying the programme although I wish there was more hands-on work as opposed to just theory work

  • The programme is laid out well and the tools available are easy to use

  • I'm given 1 day a week to use as study time and HSBC have been supportive of me using this time.

  • There is a lot of support available from QA, Northumbria and my tutor whilst completing the programme

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As it has been heavy into theory there has not been a great deal of training that would help me in my current role, however I expect it will be more useful as I progress in my career.

  • Yes, there are extra-curricular activities available through HSBC

  • Yes

  • If you know what you want to get our of your career, HSBC can be a rewarding place to work, however working in corporate environments isn't for everyone.

  • Think about what you want to get out of working for HSBC, if it suits your long term goals then go for it.
