  • I work on remediation analytics and regular reporting. This involves analysing customer data and joining many datasets together.

  • I have learnt how to code in SAS and develop my SQL skills. I have also developed stakeholder management skills.

  • I was enjoying the programme as I was learning new technical skills until I was made redundant so I had to cancel my participation in the programme

  • The programme is well structured with lots of support from the skills coach who will go above and beyond to assist me.

  • I received a moderate amount of support from my employer.

  • The training provider was extremely helpful in providing support and explaining difficult topics so that everyone understood them.

  • The course was helping me to perform better as it was helping me develop new skills. But now the qualification isnt helping me as I cannot finish it so I do not get a qualification from it.

  • No


  • 9b. Why?
  • I would not recommend HSBC to a friend as management are very short sighted so the whole apprenticeship has been a waste of time as redundancy has meant this cannot be completed.

  • To be aware of the potential for redundancies. Your job will never be secure
