  • My role involves taking part in understanding, planning, developing and reviewing systems delivered in my team.

  • Within the first 7 months I have developed many new skills and gained new knowledge as a part of learning activities as well as working on projects.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I think Amazon is a great company to work for. I am treated fairly in my team and have many learning opportunities every day. Being an apprentice is hard but we receive enough support to be successful.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I received the structure of my course before the apprenticeship started. I am aware of the programme's length and aspects, which allows me to plan ahead.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There are a few people around me who were allocated to provide needed support, including my mentor, line manager and programme manager. Besides, I am free to reach out to any team member for support, and everyone is always happy to help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We receive live workshops as well as access to books and other learning materials. All tutors are available via email if any additional support is needed. Overall, I receive enough support to successfully complete all modules.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Amazon is a large, data-driven company that develops very quickly. It means that no educational programme is able to keep up with it. My projects at Amazon are always more advanced than training. However, the basic knowledge delivered by the training provider often helps to understand some aspects at work.

  • Yes, there are many social networks at Amazon, including volunteering opportunities and social events.

  • Overall, I am very satisfied with my place of work. It provides amazing opportunities, good compensation, benefits and much more.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Amazon?
  • Keep in mind that it is a high paced environment. Apprentices are required to work hard to keep up with work and studies at the same time. If you do go ahead, make sure to know the Amazon Leadership Principles.
