I am supported by my store manager

I can contact them in between meetings and they provide helpful support and feedback

It provides structure for the physical experience I have gained on the job, and I know the terminology my company uses, so can better communicate with my team and management.

There’s opportunities for progression, the communication between head office and store teams is consistent and clear and staff are rewarded for their hard work

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Iceland?

Demonstrate your strengths and tailor them to the role of working in supermarket retail. This is a fast paced environment where you are expected to work all hours so provide examples of how you’ve fared well in challenging workplace situations.
