  • Duty Manager job demands me running the store.making sure new starters are trained well to drive sales,to be customer focused at all times. It is my job to make all staffs remember our brand promise and reputation so as to be on top of it and as a team ,we can achieve all goals set.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • A lot. The apprenticeship has given me more knowledge about the business, how to treat customers so as to retain them.7-38-55 rule of communication, factors that affect business like the PESTLE,Financial operations and a whole lot.It has thought me more about the company and how to be a good flagbearer for the company regardless.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Very much as I am learning a lot about the do's and don'ts of the company. How to ran a business.How to be customer focused at all times and remember there is no business without the customers.l have been able to share my knowledge with other colleagues as well.Knowledge is power.

  • Very good as after studying the topics,you discuss it with your learning coach.

  • The topics are well equipped and in simple English Easy to access and very understandable. It is well explained.

  • It is a good place to work. It has apprenticeship programme in place to support the staffs in their job roles Through knowledge, we are able to achieve the brand promise to our cherished customers. We are good team players and dedicated staffs who go the extra mile to satisfy our customers.

  • Do not be afraid. Bring your dedication, hardwork, enthusiasm, drive on board.Iceland will look after you and make you great.
