It's great learning new skills and knowledge and also getting the AAT qualification alongside it all.
This is the first year they have run a finance apprenticeship, so at times it has felt a little disorganised, but that is sometimes the reality of working.
I feel pretty well supported from my colleagues but there is often a lack of support from line managers which can leave you in the dark a bit. Line managers are often very busy to do organised catch-ups.
SGS are excellent, and the teachers there are well above average.
The AAT qualification is quite lacking as it is very basic, I have only been able to apply the very basics of it to work, most of the tasks at work are well beyond the scope of the qualificatio.
Plenty of socials with other apprentices, sports teams and networks. I feel like the business is a bit behind on team events though, rarely go out or interact with team outside of work.
