  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is to provide support to production and project teams for my project. this includes ensuring that they have everything they require to carry out their jobs, e.g materials, tools, plans, documents etc. i also act as a liason between different parties such as the customer and factory staff

  • i have learned and developed many skills within this role, for example my communication skills have increased greatly due to the need to articulate myself professionally to a number of different people to ensure all the correct information is given

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot, I get to interact with a variety of people to help carry out massive projects and get to experience things that many others never will

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the programme is very well organised, from the first year at college to the changing of placements and the setting of objectives. i am always clear of what is expected of me

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • there is endless support provided to me, whether it is my managers, apprentice manager or coworkers, there are also mental health first aides on site if should require support. as well as many different employee unions

  • there is constant support from babcock in achieving my qualifications, whether this is giving a needed shove or answering any queries or concerns

  • my qualifications coincide with my role well, I can apply the things I am learning to my job and they can help me excel

  • there are socials you can join, i play for a work football team

  • Yes

  • get to work for a big company with huge career prospects, earn a very competitive wage whilst you are learning, get to meet lots of good people
