  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In my store I am a trade team leader and have been for over 6 months now. I normally do the close shifts in which I manage a team to ensure that the store is to a good standard ready for opening in the morning and that all of our backstock is worked properly. I also cash up and lock the store at the end of my shift.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Iceland is a great company that gives staff lots of opportunities and help in personal development. Iceland is a very fair company and the their hourly rate is very good. The management teams within Iceland are also very supportive and love to give people the ability to better themselves and create opportunities for them.

  • I would say to others applying for iceland to be confident and just be yourself. There are so many great people and personalities within the iceland teams, they're so amazing and make you feel so welcome. If you want to better yourself and even move up into management and even further just show everyone that you're willing to go above and beyond, you don't have to be the best or fastest or strongest when you start out Iceland gives you the great support in the right things to help improve your knowledge.
