  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a business administrator which means i monitor emails that come in to the company and answer phone calls from internal and external sources. I also monitor many spreadsheets making sure these are updated each month while also completing reports when requested. the bottom line is we try and make the role for practitioners as easy as possible

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy what im doing and i get along well with my team and other staff. i think at LAT we are given much more responsibility than most apprentices would have which is a good thing and i think what LAT aims to provide is a great cause which gives me motivation.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It has been a little fractured due to changing assessors however i think the transition was as smooth as possible considering the circumstances. Overall i feel that it runs well however i can be a challenge to find time to complete Level 3 work but this is heavily encouraged by management

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I feel like the support is great and we have regular catch ups regarding the course and i know my manager is very heavily involved. I always know i can talk to her about any problems i am having with the course and i have done so on multiple occasions

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • It has been harder because of COVID however i haven't ever felt that i didn't receive enough support. i have always been told that if i ever need to ask a question i can just ring. the attitude towards me has always been understanding and i never feel like i shouldn't ask a question

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • i would say that through the knowledge units i have learned more about the company i work for but for me i dont think most of the units i have completed so far have improved my ability to do the role. most of the time i am reflecting back on old scenarios

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At the moment due to the current situation we haven't been able to partake in anything as a team but hopefully this will change going forward. i think all of the team would be up for social activities as we all get along very well. we have talked about doing the local 10k run
