  • The great thing about doing an apprenticeship at the BBC is that you are set into a rotation of different placements throughout your time here. This allows you to join different teams and broadens your original understanding of your job role.

  • Yes! My communication skills have improved massively during my apprenticeship. I feel more confident to start conversations with people I’ve never met before.

  • I enjoy the fact that I’m able to be apart of some amazing projects and teams. The culture here is so friendly and supportive.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme structure is set in a way which helps apprentices understand the way the BBC works. By going into different teams, you understand the structure of the BBC and why each team is valid.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers have been very supportive from the start. They understand if I need time off to work on my assignments and are always checking up on me to see how I’m doing.

  • The support is amazing. The resources that they offer really helps me with class work and assignments.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The course is relevant to what I’m doing at work. This is really helpful as I can use that knowledge at work and help make a relevant impact to my team.

  • The BBC have several mentoring schemes and they also have networking events for many diverse groups.
