  • My role as a Electronics Apprentice involves completing 2 qualifications during the first year and then moving on site in the final two years to carry out placements within the company.

  • I have learnt a lot about electronics and key principles that will aid in my placements. I have also developed my organisation and professional skills.

  • I enjoy the programme a lot and think it is a good opportunity for anyone looking to get into electronic/technical career path.

  • It is very well structured considering the worlds situation and people are always available to contact if help is needed.

  • A lot of support is received from BAE Systems and are always looking to improve the scheme.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A fair amount of support is given and they are generally willing to answer questions and help with the assignment/practical assessment.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualifications definitely provide a strong base for the role however these will be further developed through others in later years.

  • BAE Systems and their training provider have lots of opportunities for personal developed and events to get involved in.

  • Yes

  • It is a well structured and worth while apprenticeship to get a footing in the engineering industry and will open a lot of doors for the future.

  • Always show a lot of passion and interest as well as good organisation.
