  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the program has a clear structure to it that gives you a clear indication of where you are and where you are going. when entering the company you are given training into the company, its culture and its technology to give you the best start. A mentor is in constant contact with you to answer questions and give guidance as well as support you outside of work adjusting to life as an apprentice. once in a role you have a clear hierarchy without the seriousness that comes with it, everyone is available to help and everyone asks for help.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My role involves lots of research and paper writing, this course supports this through education of research techniques and writing skills. the course also exposes me to different techniques i might not have used previously allowing me to be innovative in the workplace and promote a positive culture. the qualification also provides the detailed information to combine with the context of the workplace to understand concepts fully and better than working or learning alone.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many opportunities to get involved outside of the workplace from social events such as the on site pub or our many clubs to initiatives such as STEM outreach. there are sports events throughout the year such as rounders where most of the workforce is involved, fishing opportunities and an on site gym. we are supported to have a positive impact on the local community and the entire workforce socialises not just in but outside the office.
