  • How to deal with different types of personalities and listen to what they are saying, wether it be though verbal communication or body language.

  • I’ve really enjoyed the whole course. It has been helpful to use the theory with the practical side of the job and put it into practice. I have found the course very helpful with my day to day responsibilities within my job role

  • Very. I have found the resources provided very easy to navigate

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers are fantastic. Management is very supportive, and alway at the other end of the phone or email if I need help

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Chris my assessor has been amazing. He is very easy to get on with and he has made the whole experience with the NVQ very enjoyable and is always there for advice

  • The qualification has given me so much help in my role. I have found the things I have learnt, invaluable in my day to day responsibilities and my role in general

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Very limited at the moment due to COVID, but we do have a work communication messenger which is nice. Everyone is very helpful amd willing to give each other advice

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have worked in various industries, but way ahead stand out way above any company I have worked for. Management and owners go out of their way to help you and are very approachable. Go above and beyond for their service users and staff. Best place I have worked and a massive privilege to be part of such an amazing team


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Way Ahead Leisure Pursuits?
  • Lovely company to work for.
