  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I take customer calls during my working hours and I am usually the customer's first point of contact into the bank. This involves a range of different interactions and my responsibilities are within anything bank/savings account or credit card related.

  • My employer supports me within my work environments and day to day role to a fantastic degree however for the apprenticeship the support is mainly external from the workplace.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are some team activities we can get involved in. Personally I have not researched this area too much and therefore do not know the extent to everything that's available which i guess also shows i should be getting myself more involved. It is clear however that as a team we do not do enough extra curricular activities.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a very relaxing but focused environment and there is never any work you have to take home. Currently as I am, if you can work from home it proves to be a fantastic role that is very easy to build my day around.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • It is not as hard as you think! Make sure you apply for a permanent position directly through Lloyds Banking Group as you do not want to be an agency worker. Other than that complete the application and you'll be surprised how many people get taken on.
