  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Despite working from home, I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship scheme, as even though I do not have the physical presence of my colleagues I feel comfortable enough to ring them if I have any queries or difficulties. In addition, the regular calls provided for the exams involved make the qualification enjoyable also.

  • Overall, the programme is structured and organised very efficiently and I feel as though it has adapted well to the circumstances. The sessions are planned well in advance which makes it easier as they can be noted and therefore know our availability.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • So far, the qualification has been helpful in giving me the overview of the insurance industry as a whole and the processes involved when covering a risk- both the role of underwriters and brokers. There are many of the different products available covered which is informative, though it would have been even better if ATE was covered as this is the team I work within.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are. I am currently involved in the YPN (young professionals network), and hope to be part of some of the sports teams when things are more 'normal' and am back into the office. Though, there have been quizzes in the past and some more planned in the near future.
