Working around the site doing different jobs in different departments.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. I have learnt many work related skills such as crimping, assembling mechanical and electrical assemblies and i have also boosted my social skills as i have been meeting many new people.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy learning about different aspects of engineering.

I have a timetabled plan for my 4 year course.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have lots of opportunities for support when i need it.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have enough support and can get additional support if i ask for it.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A lot. The more i learn about engineering at college the more i can apply it to the daily tasks around the factory.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a pub crawl roughly every 6 months. i have not attended these yet.

Yes

They are a very good company to work for. Most people are friendly, and it is a nice place to work at.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?

You get back what you put it. Work hard and you will be rewarded.
