  • Following different parts of the engineering team at placement, learning what their job consists of from the practical aspects o the more technical ones. That or going to Uni and learning more or the technical aspects and the base knowledge needed

  • Numerous skills including electronic courses, computer network courses, audio visual acquisition, maths

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I personally really enjoy the program, there are some really challenging parts to it, there are also some parts that can be a little slow, but altogether its a great course. The support provided is amazing and cant be faulted

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The organisation is really good of this course, the uni part is really well structured and he different sections can be seen in advance normally, the placements are well organised and you are put in touch with your placement manager before you start every time.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • fully supported, i know they are always there to talk to about any concerns and can be reached through a few methods

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They are okay about supporting us through the qualification, sometimes they have required a push from the employer when it comes to certain topics, or need to be pushed by our uni rep but most of the time they're alright

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It is fairly helpful, especially for the most technical parts of the placements they can really come in handy

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I'm unsure about this however i'm sure there is

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Overall its a great course and i would highly recommend t, it covers all bases and provides a great start to a work environment


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BBC?
  • Research into the job before you apply so you're sure exactly what you're applying to, other than that just be yourself, its the only way to know if the job is for you
