  • For a few months of the year we spend time at university. For the rest of the year we are at placements which are around the BBC and depending on where you are will depend on what you do day to day.

  • Learn a lot of new skills all the time, and everyone is there for you to help develop these skills.

  • It's so much fun, everyone is super nice, you get to participate in some amazing activites that most people don't see.

  • The people who run the course are great and plan everything out perfectly.

  • They go above and beyond to help you, whether you're at uni or at work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A reasonable amount, they help a lot and try and support you as much as possible.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It teaches the basics about what you need to know, and then you learn more specifics on the job. Sometimes I wish we were taught more before the first placement.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are events going on every so often that you can be involed with, there are some clubs that you can join but not loads.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it is fun and super interesting and you learn loads.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BBC?
  • Be yourself, what you already know doesn't matter too much because they can teach that all to you, so don't worry that you don't know anything about it previously.
