  • I practice using various systems and processes to highlight any potential risks on working with a client and recording important information about an engaging party. This involves both internal and external communication via emails, phone calls and daily meetings.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have become more confident on communicating with seniors in the team in through emails and phone calls. Building knowledge on excel is a fundamental skill. Organising data has been helpful in locating necessary information. Familiarising myself with complicated systems and becoming efficient with the process.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Quite a lot of support is given to help complete a task and mentoring is available to help you get through! Socials are organised to keep the motivation going and the team is really friendly.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Important notices are communicated to us weekly via email. Quick responses are given to any outstanding queries, apprentice representatives also help answer them.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A huge amount of support is given by managers in the apprentice team and my own department. Time is taken out to catch up on my performance and what could be improved, also all questions are answered in enough detail for me to understand situations I may be placed into.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We are given recorded online lectures, lots of question practice and theory to read. Content is explained thoroughly during classes.

  • Catch up calls are provided with the training provider to discuss strengths and advice is given on how to complete work to more of a higher standard.

  • There are a range of activities to sign up to. I attend regular social events held in my department.

  • Be yourself! Read more about what will be offered in the area you choose to specialise in. Always be ready to face challenges. Always keep planning and prioritisation in mind!
