  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • For my first year, there is a high emphasis on learning both for apprenticeship work and within the company. I work within a Data Analyst team to see how we support the business with the work we do. For the rest of the apprenticeship I will rotate in placements.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • For the degree there are parts that are less enjoyable, due to me already having a degree. However, I think the rest of the programme should be more enjoyable. The support within work is brilliant.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Within the organisation there is some control on our part, however, we do have regular reviews to see how we are getting on. The degree has had some issues but they have been resolved when questioned.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As the qualification is so long, it is unclear at present how it will help me perform better. There are aspects of encouraging things like teamwork that carry across though,

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are social activities organised within the team, and the option to join in on sporting events. There are a few professional networks on offer also. As a people focused organisation, there are also other opportunities.
