Lead a team of 118 people. My role is about managing people and running a business rather than serving customers.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned the theory behind decisions that have been made at executive levels, with me able to buy in and expand upon teaching better because of it.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy testing my brain to something else. Different challenges to my usual routines.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme itself is well organised, but it seems my company fails to understand the importance and demands of studying a degree apprenticeship alongside working.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am supported in the sense that I am allowed to take time away to attend university, but there have been time’s when they have failed to understand the demands of a degree. Nobody from my company has asked about my progress.

Excellent support from Manchester met.

My management style has improved now I understand the theory behind business.

Many social activities are arranged by McDonald’s.

Yes

McDonald’s has supported me through my life since I left school, giving me an understanding of working life, learning and becoming myself and growing as a person.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?

Be yourself. Being you is truly important in life, and as an employer is something that I admire the most through the interview/recruitment process.
