  • I support the recruitment and strategy for my respective operating units and enabling functions. Searching and shortlisting candidates and offering advice/support to hiring managers. Providing a positive candidate experience.

  • I have developed recruitment and HR skills, whilst improving my confidence, conviction and communication.

  • I do thoroughly enjoy my programme and have learnt a lot which has enhanced my current role, however the teaching level on my course has been varied.

  • Very well structured in terms of a course programme, however sometimes lacks organisation and management of the course tutor.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Couldn't ask for more support, even those in the wider business offer advise and support should I have any questions regarding completing assignments for my course.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • It has been mixed, and often it can feel a fairly solo experience, so students rely on each other for advice and support to complete assignments.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel it has become very important in supporting my job role, especially recruiting HR individuals my knowledge around key HR topics helps me build relationships with managers and candidates as I understand the work and skills involved.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are, however I do not always attend but there are plenty available both within HR and the wider business.

  • Yes

  • The people are amazing, the offices have a great atmosphere and I'm cared for as an employee. Skanska lives by it's values and is a fantastic place to work.

  • Do your research and identify what key elements about Skanska as a business resonate with you. Network with individuals already in the business to understand more.
