  • solving customer problems and enqurires. helping customers out with their day to day banking and making it easier for them in terms of saving thier trip to the bank by making thier banking life easier and finding out what their stated and unstated needs are in order to give them the best experience they can get out of thier day.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have been able to upskill myself on existing skills that i have making it easier for me to adapt in a fast working enviroment, this has enabled me to be confident in my role and excel and progress further in my career at halifax as a manager role in the banking hall with the help of my staff and managers.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is enjoyable i am getting to learn new techniques and master new skills to upskill myself through my day to day activities when I’m at work. This enables me to build my confidence and understand what’s required in the role I have as a customer adviser at HALIFAX

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I love the structure of my programme the time period in between both work and apprenticeship is so convenient making it easy for me to balance both work life and my case studies. This also helps upskill myself when it comes to time management which is vital and key.

  • The support that I recieve from my employer is great, this helps build trust with my manager and also my colleagues when I am in need of support they are always around to help me out and support me in ways where I should be getting in order for me to progress

  • I have enough time for myself to do the role and also working towards my qualifications my manager knows how important it is for me to complete these to understand the values and upskill myself when it comes to understanding the role I have at HALIFAX

  • It helps me build confidence, but giving me that extra emphasis on what I should be doing extra in my day to day job to help me understand where I am at and how it can benefit me if I was to progress further in my career within Lloyd’s

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Their are not many sport teams or networking events, but recently our SBM has set up a workshop which is helping not only the colleagues and myself in our roles as a CSA but also with my personal development plan which is bonus for my qualifications helping me progress through it with ease.

  • The company is a great company to work for, if you thrive for your own success and you show that in your day to day job your managers will be supportive of your decision helping you with that extra push and mentioning your name in meetings to help you with your progression throughout the company.
