  • Highways Maintenance repairs across the county, repairing the carriageway, footways and street furniture.

  • I was steadily promoted throughout my career, now acting as supervisor and have definitely improved my management skills

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I loved my apprenticeship, learning and living in London on block release.

  • very well, great tutors with well organised travel and mentoring at work from CITB

  • Difficult to cover the more specialist parts of the course, but changes and support was made available where possible.

  • Lots, there was fantastic support in helping me pass my course

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • A lot better, I learnt more professional skills and calculations that my colleagues hadn't learnt in their longer careers giving me a more technical edge.
