  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I would say I am enjoying the programme, I like the fact that I have this opportunity to progress in my career and build my knowledge and skills at university. I can say I enjoy having the work to do as it helps keep me on track of reaching my end goal and keeps me on my toes

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme from what I have experienced is really well organised and structured in a straight forward way which does not affect my learning, the learning portal that I use is simple but effective and it clearly shows my deadlines and links to the work I need to complete the work required.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive the support I need form my Kier, I have meetings with the early careers team regularly to update on my progress and I also do the same with my line manager, I am getting my off the job training time I am required to have and that happens without any issues. One thing I would like is to be able to transition to different teams to get other experience

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The learning provider is supporting me they have shown me how to use there systems while I’m there and have also implemented the distance learning systems so I can access the online library for materials and books I need to read. • No not really or not that I know of. I know that Kier does do visits to schools, there are some activities such as highways uk or traffix I have been to which occur yearly, I don’t think Kier have sport teams. It would be something I'd need to check

  • 9a. Would you recommend Kier Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have recommended Kier to friends and one had also had a job within Kier on an apprenticeship, the reason I recommended Kier is because my experience from 2017 on my kevel 3 apprenticeship to now on the degree apprenticeship has been overall great. It was a great aspect for me to be able to share with friends

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kier Group?
  • Advice I would give people would be to be yourself, have your goals set and be ready to challenge yourself, also don’t be afraid If you don’t know the answers just ask one of the many experienced people that are around you and I'm positive they will help you the same way they have helped me
