  • I work in Area 7 design services working for Kier on behalf of Highways England. My work involve working on my own schemes as well as assisting my team to complete their schemes.

  • I have learnt how to use CAD and begin to get a greater understanding of standards used for highway design

  • I am enjoying my programme, gaining skills and knowledge as well as hands on experience

  • It is well structured with weekly online lectures and activites to complete. Block weeks allow for face to face interaction

  • I recieve all the support as well as 20 % off the job learning

  • Gaining knowledge of civil engineering is allowing me to become more confident in my role and my decisions

  • We try and orgainise a basketball game once a week
