Microsoft Excel used to be very alien to me. Now I understand it significantly better due to the work I am involved with through billing.
Extremely - the programme has beaten my expectations by far and I am very much looking forward to the years to come.
The programme is well structured and organised, however it is important to keep in mind how new a legal apprenticeship is to the industry and that there is a learning curve to tackle for everyone involved.
I receive a lot of support from my employer to ensure that I have been able to hit the ground running when entering new legal departments.
A lot of support is received from my training provider. My current lecturer really cares about her subject speciality and it shows in the way she teaches. Our University manager often comments on the existence of a support team and how it is open for everyone's use. It is very reassuring despite never having to use it.
My qualification, in particular the study of contract law, has been very useful during my time sat in Dispute Resolution.
There are many activities to get involved in. Including football, HIIT training, running club, volunteering days, networking events. The list goes on.
