  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my program at siemens a lot, because college is a good place to be and I am around other apprentices at other companies just like myself. I also get to go into the office and meet new people I will be working with in the coming moths, this is helpful as everyone is welcoming and polite.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The organisation has structured my program well as I already know what I will be doing in future years, I feel as if this is also due to [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] for being so organised. This gives me confidence as I feel I am valued within the business as they have given me all the information and guidance I need.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • When working towards my qualifications both college and work give me support, the tutors at college always help me out if I am struggling or I I need extra help with something they will help in most cases. And when I am at work, if a task gets set for me and I need help with it then somebody will always be willing to help.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is a football team at work which helps everyone bond together, we play against other big companies like jaguar land rover, There is also team building exercises every year so that the team gets closer with each other. Furthermore, every Christmas there are Christmas meals and other social gatherings after work, within different departments which is a nice thing to have.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Siemens to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because everyone within the company seems like they all enjoy it a lot and always say how much of a good company to work for siemens is, even though they have worked elsewhere. And I am begging to understand that because everyone is always kind and polite, and there is also support whenever you need it.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?
  • I would make sure that when applying to the company make sure that you show that you are enthusiastic about the company and learning because they want to see that they are investing into somebody that will always be willing to learn. I would also, if you get to the interview stage make sure that you know something about the company does and what the apprenticeship actually involves.
