  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The role that I do is in data center operations. Day to day we help with the running of the data center, if there is a problem we would have to deal with the requests to allow people on site to work on servers. We have to check they have authorisation to work.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme a lot as it is broadening my knowledge and also shows how relatable our computers are with servers, as they are same tech just on a larger scale and more power. It also teaches about how the business runs it infrastructure which is interesting to see, as a lot of traffic flows through the server halls.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well organised, I have the necessary information on the exams right at the start, so can go through the courses at my own pace doing the pre reading etc. Also getting more course material 1 month in advance just means you can develop on your pre reading before going to the assessment center.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a great company to work for as they do so much for the employee's, this being in comparison to my previous employer. There is plenty of benefits for working with them, health care, extra learning such as helping to pay for exams if you want to develop yourself further, with learning tools to revise too.

  • What tips or advice I would give for people applying is to just be yourself and be confident in what you say but be honest if you don't know something, as they rather someone be honest than tell white lies. Also do some research into the history or maybe the role that you are applying for so you got some knowledge of it.
