My role is a apprenticeship so my aim is to hopefully become a team leader so on a day-to-day basis my aim is to learn as much as i can and get involved as much as i can, my aim is to help the team leader out.
Yes I've learnt some new skills that when i saw when i first came on here i thought i would never be able to learn, i still struggle sometimes as i'm a slow learner but i try my best and that's all i can do.
I enjoy it to quite a high extent but some days are worse than others if i feel like i'm struggling or just generally having a bad day but everyone has bad days, most days go quite well though and i enjoy it.
Its very organised, they always know what everyone is doing and they know how to help anyone if they are struggling, overall they are very organised which makes it a lot easier for me when you know they are organised.
Whenever i know there is something o my mind i always ask for help on what i should do and they are always very helpful.
Whenever i need the help i always get the help but i don't see my training provider that much so its hard to receive support but i can ring the training provider when im struggling or need help with something.
It does help as i when i see it being done in the training center it gives me a lot of a better understanding of it when i see it again on site.
There is no sports clubs at work but outside of work i love playing football but sadly two years ago i dislocated my knee so i haven't played for a team since but my knee does feel a lot stronger and better now so i'm ready to play football again.
Yes
It's a great opportunity and a great career in life where you can learn a great trade, its a good company to stay to work for as you can learn so much and get great experience that you wold of never had before.
Don't be nervous when you have assessment days, try to stay calm and relax because i used to get very nervous and anxious on assessment days but that will never help, if you stay calm and relaxed you are likely to do well.
