  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned skills about wine pairing during my course, and new ways and methods of staff training, staff feedback, how to properly and most effectively use customer and staff feedback to better the business. I have also learned the importance of how constantly gaining better knowledge and improving can always improve myself and therefore customer experience.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • My programme is brilliant and very informative. The main benifit to myself is being able to sit down and discuss my work as it is something I am and always have been very passionate about my job and the hospitality industry, so to be able to constantly develop and better myself in this area is something that I love. My trainer Ian is brilliant and always helps me by active listening and constructive feedback.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well. The meetings are very convenient for me as I don't have to miss any time at work or rearrange my shifts to attend them. The fuse system is very informative and anything I don't understand my trainer helps me with. The structure of it benifits me greatly because I have a productive time frame to revise and discuss all the work I have been given.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many other courses within my company, for example, last year I attended a 'growing your team' course which provided training and discussion on how to be constantly improving the working life for all the staff, provide training and be the best manager I can be. This was great as I got to speak to others in my position.
