  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was very good. Helpful and informative to provide information on subjects I needed help with. Was very relaxed yet to the point. Trainer was very good and very relaxed to be around. ([This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], would recommend this trainer to anyone and would provide a proper review if needed). Thankyou.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured. Was done to suit my needs and fit around my schedule as I was working lots during this programme and having to train other people whilst receiving the training myself. Very easy to reorganise a date if needed and the process of receiving information was well organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer made aure that I had staff in hand when I was due to be in my apprenticeship so i didn't have to worry about the business being ran, amd allowed me to work the morning shifts where it isn't as busy, but did not provide resources that i may have needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I recieved loads of support feom [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] to help me work towards my qualifications. She was always very eaher to push me to do better and reach higher qualifications. If I ever struggled she would provide help wherw she could and if she didn't know the answer she would help me research to figure it out.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has helped me a lot as it has developed some of my skills to do my role better, whilst teaching me new skills to be even better. It has also provided information for me on how best to approach different scenarios and has given me a good base knowledge on different areas of my business.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No there are not, as shifts can be 12 hours long on average and there is no time to do things such as football when you are open 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. It would be fun if we could close 1 day a month to do something for the staff but unfortunately the company doenst care about its staff.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Greene King to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • It can be fun and rewarding at times but the majority of the time ypu feel drained, mentally and physically. The pay is ok, could be better but could also be worse for the job role. Higher ups tend to make you believe they are looking out for you but you would soon realise that they aren't.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
  • Make sure its what you want. If you want a career in hospitality then its great, they will put you through qualifications and give you experience. If it's just a part time job then maybe steer clear as yoh will devote too much of your time for a job you don't particularly enjoy too much.
