  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think this programme is well organised and well thought out because my assessor gets to come out every so often to see how I am doing within my work place and if I have any problems I am able to talk about them. Its very well structured as they've even thought about the college days which allows me time to get my NVQ done.

  • My training provider gives me so much support, even though I don't get to see her as much as my employer I know I can email or call her if I need any advice or help with anything to do with my apprenticeship and I think by having such a good support system it makes me work to the best of my ability because I know if I need help it will be there.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are Apprenticeship weeks in which I am hoping to take part in this year. During this week sellafield apprentices are to get into groups and take part in doing something whether it be making things to sell, building something to raise money etc and at the end all the money raised goes to charity and so I think this is is a great way to get young people involved with charity and team work.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I just think sellafield is such a great company to work for due to the support you get, the friendships you make, the things you can get involved in (charity work) and they have such a great apprentice scheme as they are allowing people like me to gain skills which will set me up for life.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sellafield Ltd?
  • I would tell them to go for it and be confident and be willing to try new things as it makes your knowledge better and even though it might be out of your comfort zone I've found that by trying new things you learn about yourself and this is the best way to adapt yourself to working.
