I work on the social media team for BBC Sport Wales and Scrum V. I creating content (image & video) to publish on many different platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The aim is to promote the work we do on social media to longer audiences.
I've learnt may need skills, such as using a MacBook and learning Final Cut. I've also learnt how to tweet and help run social media accounts.
I enjoy the office environment, the challenging work and contributing to the department.
For the most part it's very organised and structured, but there can be lacking in communication, within the BBC and the learning provider Sgil Cymru.
A lot, The BBC are very supportive with many different issues, from work related issues to personal issues.
There is support, but it's not the best, the learning provider can be a negative place to go and work. The one-to-one meetings are good and you are free to bring up any issues.
The qualification doesn't really impact my job or help me perform it better, but it has taught me a few things that can be useful in the job in the future.
Yeahs there are many chances to do activities to get involved in. The BBC are very good at these things.
