My job role as a secretary includes supporting 4 customers. I book rooms, arrange meetings, book travel, log expenses etc.
I have learnt many skills during my time as I had only just left school. I have learnt how to use outlook as I had never used it before. I have learnt secretarial basics including phone etiquette and business writing skills.
I really enjoy my programme and I enjoy attending work everyday. I also enjoy my college days as I like to learn new things.
My programme is very well organised/structured as I am always kept aware of any changes to the programme.
My employer gives me lots of support. I sit next to my line manager which helps as she is always their to help me.
My training providers provide me with college days which help me with my qualification as I learn about the different units within the apprenticeship.
my qualification teaches me all the things I need in my role. It helps my performance as I didn't need training as much at work.
I am going to get involved with the STEM Ambassadors when I am 17, I think this is a really good opportunity.
Yes
They provide you with the support to finish my qualification as well as have a paid job.
I would advise them to research the company so they know who they are going to be working for and what kind of jobs they will be doing.
