My role is to ensure I help customers with their needs and wants and make sure to provide the best customer service for them that I can. I’m always required to communicate with my co-workers about anything I’m not sure about or if I need their help for anything.
I’ve developed my customer service skills, my communication skills, my time management, and my self-motivation. My product knowledge is also one of the most vital skills I’ve learnt as I’m now able to help customers with almost anything they have in mind that they need help with.
My programme is going smoothly and really well. It’s been so educational for me and I’ve enjoyed working with my co-workers and overcoming challenges within retail. What really motivates me to go to work everyday is that I have amazing people that I can work with and I’m also learning something new everyday.
The programme has been very well organised over the course of the year and I haven’t had any issues whatsoever with how it’s been structured. I had a document from my training provider which also structured out how my apprenticeship is set out over the year and how I need to prepare myself for the end of point assessment.
My employer is always there whenever I need her help. She may be busy at times but it’s understandable and I still receive her support and feedback. Whenever I have a question I don’t know about, I ask her for some help and she never hesitates to help me.
My training provider is okay in supporting me for my qualifications. I’ve received lots of information and they’ve given me A lot of training resources to use. They also require to me to do some work which will help me acquire more knowledge on topics such as laws, data protection, etc.
With all the documents and information I’ve been given to help me get through my training, it’s been extremely useful in understanding how to perform my role in the best way I can. I’ve been giving online training is well and it allows me to learn different topics that are vital to acknowledge.
There aren’t any extra activities, however I did have many opportunities within my apprenticeship to go to workshops and learn even more and educate others about how good this apprenticeship is for a future option. This also helped me expand on my thoughts on how I choose to build my career.
Yes
This apprenticeship allows me to grow further in my career and it gives me experience to develop and learn more about how a business runs. My friends could also choose this route and find it as a viable option. If my friends aren’t interested in university and would rather choose to do apprenticeship I would definitely recommend them this one based on my experience.
Ensure that all work is complete to the best of your ability and don’t be afraid to take a risk as every step of this apprenticeship is only leading you to a further opportunity in expanding your experience and becoming the best you. You also will receive lots of support!
