  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i wouldn’t say I have learn any new skills but I would definitely say I have developed existing skills, or refined them some what any way. It’s made me use methods such as 5s and Kaizen In a more structured approach and understanding that both form the foundations of improvement was enlightening.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The training enabled various individuals in various different roles to get together in teams to resolve common issues that we all experience in a constructive way using methods such as 5s and Kaizen It’s was good to take time and get to know others and learn what other departments constraints are.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the Training was delivered at the same time and location every single week, delivery was by the same tutor. It could be flexible providing work was caught back up and time was applied at a later day. The venue wasn’t the best as we were based in a test area with sometimes people going in and out

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer supported the time away from my job and encouraged further learning which is good to see, I am not the youngest of employees but I am always keen to brush up on my learning it was difficult to adapt the changes we suggested mainly down to the site was customer owned

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training enables me to preform my role better by defining the foundations of improvement the base blocks are so important the rest should just fall into place, 5s and Kaizen were such a big part to play It encouraged us to work as a team instead of in silo which can be a common theme at work due to its size and various roles

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No unfortunately we don’t arrange team building at work which is very disappointing we work so many hours together in such a depressing strenuous results driven workplace it is quite bad really Work should encourage team building to get to know our counterparts in a more social way not just work
